Glued Laminated Timber

Bold, beautiful and architecturally versatile, Glued-Laminated Timber (Glulam) is engineered wood at it’s finest.

 

Predominantly used for beams and columns, it is made of dimensional lumber running parallel along the length of the member, glued together under high pressure with a moisture resistant structural adhesive.

 

Renowned for its superior strength it is used to make everything from uncomplicated simple shapes to dynamic complex curves making it a favourite of engineers and architects alike.
