Mont Réel

The collaborative project Mont Réel, located on the site of the former Outremont Gare de triage in Montreal, Quebec, was set up by Constructlab with the involvement of Goethe-Institut Montreal.

This octagonal construction represents a wooden mountain. Belonging to the Université de Montréal, it is located in the sector of the new Science Campus. It serves as a meeting place for various cultural activities during summer, bringing together the surrounding communities.

Structure Fusion made the design of the wooden elements of the main structure, the connection engineering as well as the project management.

Here is the story of its construction told by its craftsmen. A beautiful cultural journey!
